40 minutes become 40/60 hour, or 2/3 hour.

At 90 km/h, total distance travelled
= Speed x Time
= 90 x 2/3
= 60 km

From qn, 90km/h is in hours. Hence 45 mins has to be converted to hours which is 45/60 h. Distance=speed(time) =90(45/60)= 67.5km
