If we take the number to to be 1 unit,
Then 5 times of it would be 5 units.
¼ of it would be ¼ units.
Difference of 5 units and ¼ units = 1767
Difference also = 5 units - ¼ units = 4¾ units = 19/4 units
So 1767 = 19/4 units
¼units = 1767 ÷ 19 = 93
1 unit = 4/4 units = 93 x 4 = 372
The mystery number is 372
