Grouping method :

2 Large for $25, 3 Small for $44

Common multiple of 2 and 3 is 6
(2 x 3 = 6 , 3 x 2 = 6)

Make the two types of jugs have the same number.

6 large jugs : $25 x 3 = $75
6 small jugs : $44 x 2 = $88

Difference in their price
= $88 - $75
= $13

Group every 6 large jugs and 6 small jugs as 1 set . So in every set, the difference in price between the 6 large and 6 small jugs is $13

Total difference = $65

$65 ÷ $13 = 5

This means there are 5 sets.

In one set, there are 12 jugs (6 small + 6 large)

Total number

= 12 jugs x 5
= 60 jugs
