Such questions require you to follow two rules:
- multiplication and division
- whatever you multiply/divide on one side, do the same for the other side
In this case, on the right hand side, we’re given 6 but we can’t get from to 9 in one step. Hence, we need to divide both sides by 2 then multiply both sides by 3.
