Very simple actually.
g(x) = 2/(x + 4)
hg(x) = (x+6)/(x+4)
= (x + 4 + 2)/(x + 4)
= (x + 4)/(x + 4) + 2/(x + 4)
= 1 + g(x)
(Or g(x) + 1)
h(x) = x + 1
h : x ↦x + 1
g(x) = 2/(x + 4)
hg(x) = (x+6)/(x+4)
= (x + 4 + 2)/(x + 4)
= (x + 4)/(x + 4) + 2/(x + 4)
= 1 + g(x)
(Or g(x) + 1)
h(x) = x + 1
h : x ↦x + 1

Not sure if you learnt this before :
(fg)-¹ = g-¹f-¹
So, g-¹h-¹ = (hg)-¹
If g-¹h-¹(k) = 1,
Then k = hg(1)
= (1 + 6)/(1 + 4)
= 7/5
(fg)-¹ = g-¹f-¹
So, g-¹h-¹ = (hg)-¹
If g-¹h-¹(k) = 1,
Then k = hg(1)
= (1 + 6)/(1 + 4)
= 7/5
