probably a printing error. none of the four choices is likely to be the answer.

Shade the remaining part of the triangle
assuming J is right and the rest of the triangle is shaded, that triangle would be half of 3 squares. Let each square be 2 units. 3 squares=6u. half of that is 3u (shaded). For the total, we have 5 squares and that’s 10u. ergo, the fraction shaded is 3/10.
