The probability of drawing a blue ball the first time is 5/10.

This is because there are 5 blue balls out of 10 balls at first.

However, the removal of this ball results in there being 4 blue balls out of 9 balls.

The second time a blue ball is drawn, its probability is 4/9.

In short, out of the first 5/10 probability, 4/9 of this probability is for the second ball.

Hence, we multiply the two results to find the probability of drawing two blue balls in a row.

A similar idea applies for drawing the other balls of the same colour.
