Before:
20c = 4u
50c = 1u
100 pcs of 20c = $20 = 40 pcs of 50c
After:
20c = 4u - 100
50c = 1u + 40
given, he had 38 more 50c coins
Therefore, 1u+40 - 38 = 4u-100
3u = 140-38
3u = 102
1u = 34
a) 20c coins is 4u -1u = 3u more
3u = 3 x 34 = 102 coins more.
b) 20c = 4u
=4 x 34
=136
Value = 136 x $0.20 = $27.20
50c = 1u
= 34
Value = 34 x $0.50 = $17.00
Total Ravi have = $27,20 + $17.00 = $44.20.
