Increasing the length of S does not give more energy for R to slide down the slope to hit P to move along S,
So (1) is not the ans.
(2)
Increasing the roughness of S would increase the friction P would experience along S. This wuld stop P in its motion earlier.
So (2) is not the ans.
(3)
Increasing the width of the slope does not give more energy for R to slide down the slope to hit P to move along S,
So (3) is not the ans.
(4)
Increasing the height of the slope would allow R to fall from a greater height and slide down the slope to hit P with greater energy. And P would move off at greater impact force and move along S to a longer distance.
So (4) is the ans.
