When two lines are parallel, their direction vectors are the same or are constant multipliers of one another, but they do not have any common coordinates between them.

For the lines to be skew, the lines cannot be parallel to one another AND there are no coordinates of intersection between the lines.

Similar to part b, but this time the same values for the variables lambda and my introduced mu work across all three sub-equations. Thus, the points intersect.

We simply substitute back the lambda or the mu into any of the two lines for our point of intersection.
