Since PT=TS, hence the square is divided into 2 rectangles.
When a diagonal is drawn into both rectangles, you will get 4 triangles. The triangles are all the same as the shaded one.
Since you know the area of the square, you will be able to calculate the area of the triangle base on the information I gave above

hi Amir,
Base on my explanation. It’s given that the area of square=64cm^2
Since there are 4 equal triangles, you can just take 64cm ^2 divide by 4 and you get 16cm^2
