Pardon the handwriting.
Do take note that every partial fraction question if there is improper fraction, there first few parts is Ax+B+.... , depending on the index of the numerator. Shortcut to finding A would be to see the coefficient of the top and bottom index and divide it. In this case since the numerator index has coefficient 1 and denominator is the same, A is 1.
