Make a perfect square from the expression

You can do this by putting it in the form:

a^2 + 2b^2 - 2ab*sqrt2

You get ab = 12

a^2+2b^2 = 34

You can use simultaneous equations to solve for a and b. You should get
(4-3*sqrt2)^2

Go try it! Hope it helps
