(i) This is a multistep approach.
1. Recognise the equation Y=mX + C
Y is the variable on the y-axis. In this case, it is (y-x)/y
X is the variable on the x-axis. In this case, it is just x
2. Find the gradient (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
3. Find intercept C. Use the points (2,3) and y-intercept (0,y). Use the gradient formula to find out the unknown y.
4. Substitute Y, m, X and C into the equation and make y the subject of the equation.
