B. Enthalpy change positive means energy used to break bonds is more than energy produced from forming bonds.

Answer B. Enthalpy change of formation of NOx (oxides of nitrogen, eg. N2O, NO, NO2, etc.) involves breaking of the high energy N triple bond. Very unfavourable. Hence, enthalpy change of formation is positive (need energy input).
