To fulfil LCM 2^3 and 3 must be present in (n) and 6. Since 6 is 2x3 , N needs to fulfill criteria of having 2^3 thus N=8

Ok dude so this answer works backwards from the LCM 24 which is 2x2x2x3 prime factor right

Then 6 is 2x3

And to get LCM , you normally collect all the prime factors from both numbers but after you look at 2x3 , 2 cube (2^3) is missing so n= 2 cube

Not 12 because only 2x2x3 then missing 2 cubed

Not 24 because your prime factor 3 is already covered by 6

Idk man hope it helps but if you don’t get it google and look at math.com
