Model is difficult to draw for this question so we will use units instead.

Let Bala's units be 12 at the start as a common denominator for 3 and 4 is 12. Siti will have 12 units + 285.

When Siti spends 1/3, she will spend 1/3 of 12 units and also 1/3 of $285. Therefore she will have 8 units + $190 left.

Bala will have 3 units left and the difference between the amount they have left is $330. By drawing a model for that, we can see that 5 units is $140, so you can then find 12 units.
