How do I substitute?
Since X =3,
3x-1 = 3x3 -1 = 9-1 = 8
5x = 5x3 = 15
5x+2= 15+2 = 17
To get area, choose base and height that are perpendicular, which is 8 and 15.
1/2 X 8 X 15 = 60 cm^2
