Good evening Celine! Here are my workings for this question.
The first step is to realise that dN/dt = an - bn2 where a and b are the proportionality constants for birth and death respectively.
We use the condition that the maximum rate of increase of the population is 10 to reduce the equation above into an equation in a and b.
We have no choice but to integrate the expression to make use of the data that there were initially 5 turtles and finally 100 turtles at time infinity. As it turns out, the initial condition was redundant in the obtaining of a and b.
