(a) To get their HCF, you compare between both notation and take out the common factors. In this case, you take out 2, 3, 5 and 7. Then you take out the lowest power of each number between these two notations. Therefore, the answer should be 2^3 x 3^5 x 5 x 7^2.

(b) To get the LCM, you choose either notation to work from, then you multiply with what is lacking from the other notation. In this case if I choose the first notation, 2^4 x 3^5 x 5^3 x 7^2, I will have to multiply it by 3 once, and 7 six times, resulting in the answer: 2^4 x 3^6 x 5^3 x 7^8.
