Both c and sin c increase as x increases from 0 to pi/2.

Sin 0 is 0, while sin pi/2 is 1.

So the minimum limit is 0, while the maximum limit is 1 + pi/2.

The function c + sin c is also continuous, taking on all possible values of y from 0 to 1 + pi/2, so there must be some point in between 0 and pi/2 in which c + sin c = 1.

Use GC to graph the equation and find C
Since C=0.511, which is within the range, it is proven.
