In one minute
A fills 1/6 and B fills 1/9 C takes out 1/15 of the tank
Find the Lowest common multiple of 6,9,15 to have the same denominator which is 90
Find the sum of the fractions of A, B, C
Which is : 15/90 + 10/90 - 6/90
= 19/90
This is the fraction of the tank filled in one minute take 90 divided by 19 this gives you a decimal 4.74(corrected to 3s.f)
Make it a whole number it will give you 5
Final answer is that it takes 5 minutes to fill up the tank
