if you are given two numbers a and b and you know their HCF and LCM, the relationship connecting the four numbers is …
a x b = HCF x LCM.

to understand why this relationship is always true, you need to look at the method of finding HCF and LCM by comparing the indexes of prime factors of the two numbers.

you should have learnt, or will be learning this method soon, in your sec 1 maths.

do try to analyse it yourself, then you will understand and learn it better.

so, for the question above, answer ...
= 12 x 5040 / 144.
