d/dx [sin2 (3x2) - cos (1/x)]
= d/dx [(sin 3x2)2 - cos (1/x)
= 2 (sin 3x2)^1 times differentiate of sin 3x 2 - (- sin 1/x) times differentiate 1/x

And so on. Two chain rules needed on the sin2 3x2.

Will look at this by 4 am if no one has done them yet.

The chain rule will be applied at least twice for expressions such as (sin f(x))^n.

There is no need to do the double angle formula to simplify the final expression.
