I think there is a slight mistake when you sub in the tan2(theta). I think it should be (1+p^2*t^2/100). Other thank that this method is much easier to understand than what i had done

Almost there...
(x/10)^2 = x2/100
(x/10)^2 = x2/100
Never mind, missed that you simplified the numerator already
i brought the 1/10 down that is why it is x^2/10. I think i skipped a few steps, i will try to include all my steps in future thank you.
