b) father future age = 4k + y
Where y is number of years in the future
John future age = k+ y
2 x john future age = father future age
2 x (k + y) = 4k + y
2k + 2y = 4k + y
y = 2k
b) father future age = 4k + y

2 x john future age = father future age
