using CD//AB, AE//BC, and angle BCD=42 …
… can find angle ABC and angle BAE.
using angle AED=87, triangle AED …
… can find angle EAD + angle ADE
using CD//AB again, and angles BAE, EAD, ADE …
… can find angle EDC.
final answer angle EDC = 45.
(does not look like 45 in the figure shown, but is only because the figure is purposely drawn distorted;
by calculation answer is 45.)
