The area should be 39sq Cm.
The area can be calculated as 2 times the area of triangle.
Base = 6.5 cm
Height = 6cm
Area of triangle = 1/2 * (6.5*6) = 19.5 sqcm

Hence Area of shared area = 2* Area of Triangle = 39 sqcm.

In the rhombus, you can rearrange the shapes and you will have 4 of the shaded area. So the area of the rhombus can be divided to find the area of one shaded area
