Notice that by shifting the square root to the right hand side, you are implying that the value of the square root can be negative.

Sqrt (4x - 9) = - sqrt (3x - 1)

ie, sqrt (4x - 9) = negative value.

We know that square roots can only take real values (excluding complex solutions). So, this eqn cannot be solved her way.

To solve this eqn, we need to realise that
4x - 9 = 0 and 3x - 1 = 0, which has no solution.
