You're on the right track. Length of ED is 2 * sqrt(3), as you have written.

Let angle CAB be theta. Tangent theta is thus the ratio of length BC and length AB. Length AB is 3 * sqrt(3) and length BC is 2, as you wrote. Thus, theta is tangent inverse of 2 / (3 * sqrt(3)). I believe you're stuck here as you found the answer to be 30 - tangent inverse of 2 / (3 * sqrt(3)).

You can check that this evaluates to the answer given in the question. Just multiply sqrt(3) to both the numerator and the numerator and you're there.
