Circumference of one semicircle = 0.5 x 3.14 x 100 =157
Perimeter of shaded part = 100 + 100 + 157 + 157 = 514cm
Perimeter of shaded part = 100 + 100 + 157 + 157 = 514cm
From the diagram, the perimeter of the shaded part = circumference of a circle + ( 2 x length of square)
