Let there be 6 units of bowls.

1/2 of the number of bowls is the same as 3 units of bowls. Similarly, 1/3 of the number of bowls is the same as 2 units of bowls.

We see that extra 1 unit of bowl corresponds to the 1.5 kg extra mass.

So, 1 unit of bowl = 1.5 kg
3 units of bowls = 1.5 x 3 = 4.5 kg

Mass of wooden box
= 7.9 kg - 4.5 kg
= 3.4 kg

Then, we have

6 units of bowls = 1.5 x 6 = 9 kg

Mass of wooden box full of bowls
= Mass of wooden box + Mass of 6 units of bowls
= 3.4 kg + 9 kg
= 12.4 kg
