Hang on. I have trouble integrating a modulus expression at the moment so there is no guarantee that I can use my current method of integration my parts to integrate an expression successfully. I will send in the next post only if I manage to do the question using this approach.

Sorry, I just realised that I had taken the much harder way earlier on and had not realised that it was actually only done this way.

On the left side is my failed attempt (just to illustrate that not all choices of terms work) and on the right side is my new choice of terms for integration by parts.

The working on the right side uses the results from part a as an intermediary working.
