Break down that 6.25 km and go from there.

6.25 = 1 + 13 (0.4) + 0.05

First km is $3.30.
The next 13 portions of 0.4m are $0.25 each.
The last 0.05m counts as another 0.4m and therefore also costs $0.25.
Get this total, then multiply by 5/4 to get the actual fare.
