We let 3/4 of Salim’s money be equal to 3 units. So Salim has 4 units of money.
Then it follows that
unit unit unit unit
unit unit unit unit unit unit
(because 3/4 of Salim’s money is equal to 1/2 of Irfan’s money)
So Salim has 4 units out of all 10 units held by both people, or 2/5 of the total sum of money.
