a) Let the length of the triangle be x and the breadth of the triangle be y.
x = 45 - 10 =35
y = (50-5) - 35 = 10
x-coordinate of C = 45-10 = 35
y- coordinate of C = 5 + 10 = 15
Coordinates of C = (35, 15)
b) By Pythagoras's Theorem , a^2 = b^2 + c^2
BC^2 = 35^2 + 10^2
BC^2 = 1325
BC= 36.4 cm (1 d.p.)
