I have to find the limit as stated in the first line and my working is below but I'm unsure of how to continue

I could not figure out from the first two lines how tan2 t managed to become t (1 - cos 2t) / 2.

Maybe I missed out something.

What I would do is to rewrite tan2 t as sec2 t - 1 because sec2 can be easily integrated.

Here are my workings for this question, which are probably wrong.

Perhaps my brain is fried. Because my signages went slightly different from your workings in lines 5 to 7 and thereafter.

A lot easier to use L’Hôpital’s rule first (fraction is 0 over 0) then after that rely on the fact that if you differentiate an integral, you get the integrand back..
