a) Chocolate tarts : 12 units
Apple tarts: 6 units
1/4 of 12 units = 3
1/3 of 6 units = 2
total units = 12 + 6 = 18
total units unsold = 2 +3 = 5
Fraction = 5/18
b) 1/6 of 3 units = 0.5
2- 0.5 = 1.5 units
1.5 units = 60
1 unit = 40
12 units = 40 x 12 = 480 chocolate tarts
Apple tarts: 6 units
1/4 of 12 units = 3
1/3 of 6 units = 2
total units = 12 + 6 = 18
