Can i ask if the qn is (3+3x^4), do i have to factorise 3 out? (3(1+x^4)) then expand?

(3 + 3x4)^8
= [3 (1 + x4) ]^8
= 3^8 * (1 + x4)^8
= 6561 * (1 + 8x4 + 28x8 + ...)
Or you can even do the expansion straight.
(3 + 3x4)^8
= 3^8 + (8 1) * 3^7 * (3x4)^1 + (8 2) * 3^6 * (3x4)^2 + ...
= ...
(3 + 3x4)^8
= [3 (1 + x4) ]^8
= 3^8 * (1 + x4)^8
= 6561 * (1 + 8x4 + 28x8 + ...)
