Thank you. But may I know why do we multiply by 6 for the cookies and puffs?

Cause to get a common multiple for 4 and 6 .. since it is 3/4 and 1/6 .. but is good to change 2/7 = 12/42.

But the answer look not realistic. Total 96.
2/7 of 96 = 2/7 x 96 = 27.4286 ... cookie should be no decimal.. mean 1, 2 , 3....
don’t know I have made any careless mistake?

Can do this way..
Cookies =2/7
Puff = 5/7

Cookies sold 3/4
Left 1/4
= 2/7 × 1/4
=1/14

Puff sold 1/6
Left 5/6
= 5/7 × 5/6
= 25/42

Total left
= 1/14 + 25/42
= 2/3

2/3→64
3/3= 3/3 × 64 ÷ 2/3
=96.
