Draw a vertical line from point C to the x-axis. Let's call this new coordinate E. It will have the coordinates (8, 0).

You will notice that this results in the formation of a new right-angled triangle CAE.

The length CE is simply the difference between the y-coordinates of C and E, i.e 12 - 0 = 12. And the length CA is the difference in x-coordinates of A and C, i.e 12 - 8 = 4. Given these two lengths, you can find the angle OAC using tangent.

So, angle OAC = tan^-1 (12/4) = 71.6 (correct to 3 s.f)

To add, it is worth mentioning that the tangent of this angle represents the positive/absolute value of the gradient of the sloping line AC.
