a) 5/5 - 2/5 = 3/5
5/6 x 3/5 = 1/2
b) 19+8 =27
3/4 of remaining = $27
4/4 of remaining = 27/3 x 4 = 36
5/9 of total = 36 + 4 =40
Total = 40/5 x 9 = $72
5/6 x 3/5 = 1/2
