To find P, let x=0 and sub it in the equation. (P= (0,-8)
To find Q and R, let y=0 and sub it in the equation. You will need to solve the quadratic equation. (Q= (-4/3,0), R=(2,0))

Not a good approach for Secondary 2 students, since they would have only learnt basic cross factorisation. This method is only suitable for Secondary 3 students and above.
