This question main ideas to know:
The different between CUPCAKE and MUFFIN are same (Since he gave away an equal number of cupcake and muffin)
Before:
Cupcakes: Muffins = 105 : 105 × 4 (Total:420)
The different = 420-105 = 315
After:
Cupcakes: Muffins = 1 : 6
The different: 6u - 1u = 315
5u = 315
1u = 63

Therefore:
Cupcake remaining = 63
Muffin remaining = 6 × 63 = 378

Selling price:
1 cupcake --> $2.40
63 cupcake = 63 × $2.40 = $151.20
1 Muffin --> $1.60
378 Muffins = 378 × $1.60 = $604.80

Total money collected
= $ 151.20 + $604.80
= $756.
Hope this helps.
