Ever and Freda shared the cost of a tablet. Eve paid $100 less than 2/7 of the tablet. Freda paid $536 for the tablet. How much did the tablet cost?

Since we know how much Freda paid as well as the fraction of the tablet that she paid, we can find out the price of the tablet.
