This question is A Level stuff. You are not taught to integrate tan on its own. But tan square can be integrated if we concede into sec square minus 1.

This question is actually doable by O level students.
Just convert tan 3x into sin 3x / cos 3x using the trigo identity tanx = sinx/cosx .
Then it's directly integrable to -⅓ln(cos3x)
