im not sec 4 so im not sure. however for part (a), i think you need to make use of pythagoras theorem. like AX²=4²+2² and then find AX?

ABX = 60degree
Sin 60 = AX/4
Ax = 4 x sin60

So with that you can also use cos 60 to find he adjacent then you should be able to Find ACD easily
