Hi can let me know how to get the 8 units?
Start from Girl.
2/5 of girl left ... so we can assume girl have 5u at 1st.
2/5 left mean 2u of girl leaving the hall.. the girl at hall = 3u.
Since the Girl in the hall (3u) = boy in the hall...
So boy in the hall should be = 3u at the end.
Boy at 1st = 3u + 182
Therefore total at 1st = 3u+182 (boy) + 5u (girl)
Hence., 8u + 182
