Let the top bar be the numerator, and the bottom bar be the denominator. Since the denominator is 160 more than the numerator, the bottom bar should be longer than the top bar, with 160 as the difference.
Now you add 8 to the bottom bar, the top bar should now be 1/3 of the bottom bar. This means the new difference of the denominator and the numerator, 160+8 = 168, is 2 parts of the 3.
If you want to get one part, you just divide 168/2 = 84. This is now your numerator. The denominator is just 160 more.
