One Answer Below
Anyone can contribute an answer, even non-tutors.
SMO qn
Pythagoras theorem would show that
OA^2= OC^2+AC^2
However, OC+4=OD, a radius. Hence OD = OA
OC+4=OA
OC=OA-4
OA^2=(OA-4)^2+AC^2
You know AC, and you can hence expand and simplify the equation above. You get a quadratic equation, and solving it gets 2 answers. You accept the applicable answer of OA. Diameter is just twice this answer.
Go try it! Hope it helps
